I'm a big, fat copycat! I was just visiting Maxine's blog and found that she's added just a touch of colour to the page. It looks so nice, I'm playing with it here. O.K., "too much, no good.."

Susan, how do you add colour?

You're also on blogger, I think, so I should actually be able to help you, Lee! (I'm notoriously bad at most computer-related functions.)

When you're entering a post there's a bar across the top with various options - the top left says 'font', then 'size', then there's the bold 'b' indicating you can click on it to make your chosen letter/word/or phrase bold, then there's the 'i' for italics and then comes 'T' and a nice little palette pictured.

If you want to do something in colour, you highlight it using your left mouse button (put the cursor over the start point, depress the left mouse button, move the cursor to the end point and when you've reached the end of what you want to 'treat', only then do you release the mouse button.) When you've done that you will have highlighted what you're changing...then go to the top bar, click on 'T' and it will open the options. Click on your chosen colour. As soon as you've chosen a colour, the option thingie closes and your highlighted word, or letter, or phrase will still appear highlighted but the colour will have changed. Click outside of it and then go back to the palette to re-choose either your standard colour or yet another one.

I hope this is helpful, Lee!

Love the color, Susan! If you ever want to change the default color of your links, by the way, or of your text, it's easily done.
